3. It’s THEIR time, let THEM shine.

We all know that temptation – standing on the sidelines trying to coax our kids into playing and making the decisions the way we think they should be making. But despite best intentions, this really doesn’t help them at all – instead they’re often left confused, frustrated and often even embarrassed. 

So leave the coaching to the coaches – and as parents, let’s just stick to being their biggest fans!

But if that urge to compete is just too great – get out there, join a team and play yourself. It’s never too late for a comeback!
